WatsoNova – the new flagship project of the CTR group in Kosice, which will bring
the level of urban living to a new level. Brownfield after the former East
Slovak Printing Works with an area of more than 30,000 sqm on the border of the
Old Town will be transformed into a modern multifunctional district of citywide
importance. The new Kosice district is determined to improve not only its
adjacent surroundings, but also the vibe of the whole city.
The state of the art architectural solution was brought by
the invited architectural competition in which the Czech studio Kuba &
Pilar, architects of the year 2022, won. On one of the largest projects in
Kosice, they are collaborating with experienced local architects KOPA-DESIGN
The design combines distinctive architecture with modern technologies, high-quality public space, coherent greenery and commercial spaces, thus defining a new standard of living. Apartments with logical layouts will provide full of light and unique views of the Kalvaria and the city skyline.
In addition to hundreds of new upscale apartments, WatsoNova will enrich its neighborhood also with services, shops and underground parking
capacities. New restaurants and cafes will be complemented by the ability to
shop for everything you need just a few steps away from your new home, leaving
you more time to do the things you really love. Whether it's sitting in the

Zoning plan approved
The WatsoNova project is located directly at the
intersection of Festival Square and Watsonova Street, thus creating a natural
node for the whole North-Western part of the city. We plan to create around
6,000 sqm of commercial premises providing shops and services to the residents
of more than 700 apartments in the project plus thousands of apartments and
family houses in the neighborhoods of Watsonova Street, Kalvária, Watsonova
residential district as well as students of the Technical University of Košice.
Most of the commercial units will have excellent visibility from the main street, private underground parking lots and valuable public space with a vibrant piazzetta facing the Festival Square.
We count with anchor tenants consisting of 1-2 major supermarket chains and sutiable mix of additional shops and services.
